Sony has come up with the latest series of their Walkman digital music player in Indonesia. One is the W Series Walkman is waterproof and washable.
"Series NWZ-W250 is now waterproof and can be washed, so that users can enjoy music, either in a state of rain or heat," said Satoru Arai, President Director PT. Sony Indonesia, in keterangam received detikINET, Monday (06/21/2010).
What does it mean to be washed? Electronic devices, claims Sony, could survive and not damaged despite being bothered by water flow as if washed under the tap. Obviously this does not mean that this tool can be washed with soap or detergent, let alone put clothes washing machine.
W Series is the latest Walkman, whose full name NWZ-W250 (2 GB), Sony marketed as a music player device for those who love to exercise. The battery capacity is mentioned claims could reach 11 hours with about 90 minutes charging time.
Sony also introduced a new B Series Walkman NWZ-B152 named (2GB) and NWZ-B153 (4GB). Lipstick-sized gadget is equipped with a bass booster button for users who want to better enjoy the boom the bass on the song collection.
NWZ-W252 is available in Indonesia in a choice of black, white, pink and green started in June 2010. While the NWZ-B152 and B153 are offered with black, pink, red, blue and gold from the end of June 2010.
